Interview Reflection
So the reason why i wanted to interview David Zazueta, is because i have body conditioning with him and i felt he lifts weights very well. I thought he was the perfects person to interview being that were in the same class and i could see for my own eyes that he was in shape and very healthy. I wanted to make sure i interviewed someone who could very well represent what i was trying to explain in my blog. And that is just someone who can not only lift weights but who also take good care of their body by exercising right. Their were plenty of people at Palo Verde that could just lift weights or just exercise right but i wanted to interview someone i felt did both very well.

Also during the interview i tried my hardest to make sure i picked someone who had a good idea of my vision towards my blog. I think David was a very good example of someone who works out well and stays in shape, their were a lot of other people in my class that work out and exercise right but David was one of the few who lifted and exercised the right way he just did it better than some of the rest. Now i know their were other people in Palo Verde that i could have interviewed but David was in my class so it made it easier for me to just interview him than someone else that  i didn't have class with.

I love working out, and i am glad that their were so many other kids at school who share the same interest as me. I am glad that i was able to do this interview not just for the grade but it also helped me get to find out what other people think as far as exercising right and lifting weights. I had a lot of fun with this blog and it was interesting to find out what some people do in their spare time and how some people do some of the same stuff i do. Over all David was a good choice for me to interview for the best interest of my blog.

More Progress

Unfortunately It has come to my attention that i might not be able to reach my goals before i graduate so as of today id like to set a new goal. That new goal would be for me to be able to get my bench max to be 215 lb instead of 225 lb, and i would like my squat to be 300 lb instead of 310 lb, and last but not least i would like to get my power clean max to be 210 lb instead of 220 lb. I wanted to go down weight because even though i am making great progress it turns out i am not making progress fast enough. So instead of looking at this as a bad thing i can look at this as a stepping stool and maybe i will be able to make my original goal some time in the summer.

Project Proposal

For my project proposal I have decided to make a blog about exercise and working hard the right way. One of my favorite quotes is “Hard work does not necessarily guarantee success, but no success is possible without hard work.” – Dr T.P Chia. The reason why this is one of my favorite quotes is because it directly relates to my blog and what it stands for. I choose to do something about hard work and exercise because not only is it important for your health but it does not only have to apply to working out you can work hard at anything you do. I decided to do it on exercise because I was not very fit when I was a kid but as I got older and taller it made me loss some of my weight. That is when it really made me want to work even harder to get in even better shape than what I’m in now.

My blog is going to show people the things I try to do to stay in shape and it’s also going to show you how hard I work. I exercise and work hard not only because it’s important for my health but because I love to work hard exercise and work hard. I always feel really accomplished when someone supports me or complements me on how hard I’m working. This blog is important to me because I have always wanted to be in shape like all the people you see on TV. For the longest time I wanted to be big and strong but when I was little I was not; I was the exact opposite, but that was okay because I knew that one day I will get there. A few years later I’m in high school now and I joined the foot ball team just to help me get stronger. Unfortunately took me all the way to junior year but that was when I finally started to get stronger.

Now that I am a senior in high school I can now say I am at least twice as strong as I was my freshman year in high school. Even though I am way stronger than I was a few years ago I still have a long way to go. There is no doubt in my mind if I keep exercising and working as hard as I can I will be stronger than I have ever been.

Progress
So far so good... over the past couple of days I have made good progress. I was able to reach a new bench max of 205lb's today, it was hard to do but I was able to pull it off. Now next week all I have to work on a new squat max my goal is to reach 310lb's be for I graduate so I sill have a long way to go. I also just ran my first timed mile in body conditioning today; we ended up getting 6:40 now we have to try to reach 6:30 for my next timed mile.

I have made some great improvements over the last few days but I still have a long way to go to reach my goal. My goal is to be able to bench 225lb's, squat 310lb's, and I want my power clean max to be 220lb's. I know as long as I work as hard as I can I will be able to reach my goals before I graduate. It is definitely going to be a long hard grind but if  I put my mind to it I will be able to get it done. Only a few more weeks left in school so I am slowly running out of time.
